United Methodist History

The United Methodist Church is a 12.3-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens minds and open doors through active engagement with our world.

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" and has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.

Where Do Wee See Ourselves in the Future?

Moving forward into the Millennial, Zeta and  Alpha Generation and beyond, Emmarts seeks to be relevant, resourceful and reliable to the Windsor Mill community. We also strive to walk out the mission that Jacob Emmart and his family set forth; liberation from societal oppression and help to march those that are liberated into the marvelous light of God.
